Requesting a LinkedIn Learning Group for Academic Courses

This article covers how CSUF faculty can request groups in LinkedIn Learning for their academic courses to assign courses, videos, and collections (playlists) to their students and track the completions.

About LinkedIn Learning Groups for Faculty

Faculty members can request one LinkedIn Learning group per course that they teach. The faculty member will then be able to create multiple sub-groups for each semester and section of the course.

Faculty will be able to recommend (assign) LinkedIn Learning content to individual groups and sub-groups and run a report showing the completion status of each student that was recommended the content.

Faculty will also have the ability to create a customized collection (playlist) of individual courses and videos and recommend the collection to their groups.

Once IT creates the requested group(s), the faculty will be recommended a collection of several videos that cover how to create sub-groups, recommend content, and run reports. This training is optional, but highly recommended.
