I need help logging in to my portal account. I am planning on transferring in the Fall and in need help creating an account

Camille Johnson

Hi and welcome in advance to CSUF, Raul! We have instructions on how to access your portal for the first time and set up your account at: https://csuf.screenstepslive.com/s/12867/m/67012/l/1256658-students-accessing-the-campus-portal-for-the-first-time

You'll need to have already been assigned a CWID and PIN in order to do this. If you have not received this information yet, you can contact the Office of Admissions. Their contact info can be found at: http://admissions.fullerton.edu/contact.php

Azheni

Hello,
My name is Azheni Quintanilla and applied but I need stuff to get into this program so I did not use my CWID or my Pin but I’m trying to do the open university program and I created a student record and it said to wait 24 to 48 hours to be able to log in but I never got anything. I wanted to know what did I do? I tried to use my CWID and pin but it won’t let me. I really need help so I can do a class I need to take. Please help me.
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much for your time

Camille Johnson

Hi Azheni! Are you trying to take a class through Open University before you officially start at CSUF? If you've already been assigned a CWID from your application, you may need to follow the process for returning students: https://cmsweb.fullerton.edu/psc/CFULPRD/EMPLOYEE/SA/c/CSU_SQA.CSU_SQA.GBL?page=csu_sqa_welcome&public

If you need further assistance, you can get in touch with Extension and International Programs at [email protected] or by the other contact methods shown on their website: https://extension.fullerton.edu/ou/contact.aspx

Nadia

Hello;
I need help logging in to my portal account.
It gives this error: "Duo Security does not provide services in your current location."

Camille Johnson

Hello Nadia! That issue is likely associated with national security impacts on Duo operations: https://help.duo.com/s/article/7544?language=en_US

Given that this is national policy, I'm not sure if there's a workaround, but you may want to reach out to the Helpdesk to see if they know more. They can be reached at [email protected] or 657-278-8888.

Lori Arthur

Hi Nadia! I believe that Duo does not work in all countries. I recommend contacting the Student IT Help Desk at [email protected] or 657-278-8888 for assistance.

Isabella Prieto

Hi there! How do we know when we have been accepted into the program? Does it say in the student portal?

Camille Johnson

Hi Isabella! You will be notified by the Admissions Office if your application has been accepted. You can also check for any admissions offers in your portal through the Admission tile in your Student Homepage.

Here are some instructions on how to view and accept your admission offer: https://csuf-erp.screenstepslive.com/m/70023/l/1234406-student-accept-or-decline-admissions-offer

Admissions also has additional information and video instructions on their website: https://admissions.fullerton.edu/prospectivestudent/acceptancedecision.php
