How to Use Wireless Printing from a Mobile Device

This article covers how students can use wireless printing from their mobile device.

Expand or collapse content Step 1: Download & Setup PrinterOn App

1. Download the PrinterOn app from your device's app store:

2. Setup PrinterOn App

This step only needs to be done the first time, unless you delete the settings or app

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Click on Services
  3. Enter the following:
      Server: goprintmobile.fullerton.edu
      Path: /cps
      Toggle on SSL
      Toggle on Default Service

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Click on User Account
  3. Enter the following:
      Account: [Portal Username]
     
    Password: [Portal Password]
     
    Toggle on goprintmobile.fullerton.edu

The app is now set-up

Expand or collapse content Step 2: Send Document to Printer

1. Select the printer

  1. Click on "No Printer Selected"
    - Search for "SGC"
  2. Click on the desired printer

Note the printer name: SGC_wPLN[Library Floor]BlackWhite[Printer Number]

2. Select & Upload your file

  1. Select the document upload type
    - Select the document/photo
  2. Click on the "Print" button
    - Wait for the "Job Success" notification

3. First Time Printing Using Wireless Printing?

If this is the first time you are using wireless printing through a mobile device you may not see the document appear on GoPrint.
You may need to send your print job again.

This will only happen once; the very first time you use wireless printing.

Expand or collapse content Step 3: Pay & Print Document

1. Login to GoPrint

2. Select your document(s) from the list & click "Pay and Print"

You can see how many pages you are printing, the cost, and if you have sufficient funds:

Your TitanCard balance is automatically deducted and your document will then print out on the printer.

Note: You do not need to swipe your card at the printer.
To avoid confusion and loss of print jobs, it is advisable to collect your documents once they have been sent to the printer.

3. Make sure you have sufficient funds

You will see an error if there are insufficient funds:
