How to Run Required Activity Training Report

These instructions cover how to run a report that pulls training statuses for all employees currently assigned to a course or courses.

Tip: It is recommended  to have your course codes handy before you start.

Step 1:

Start on the Employee Training Center (ETC) Dashboard.

Step 2:

Next, click on the Self Icon located at the upper left-hand corner.

Step 3:

Select Reporting.

Select Advanced Reporting.

Step 5: 

The screen will refresh to the Repository page.

On the left-hand side, click on the (+) icon next to the folder for CSU_PROD to expand this folder.

Step 6: 

Click on the (+) icon next to the Custom folder.

Step 7: 

Click on the (+) icon next to the Reports folder.

Step 8:

Click on the FULLERTON folder.

Step 9:

Select ETC Training History Templates.

Step 10: 

Under the ETC Training History Templates folder, select the report titled Required Activity Report.

Step 11:

The screen will refresh to the Required Activity Report screen.

Next, click on the Options icon in the upper left-hand side of the screen.

Step 12: 

A new pop-up window will appear.


Click on the Company Name drop-down menu.

Step 13:

Under Company Name, select CSU Fullerton.

Step 14: 

Under Activity Code, search for the appropriate training you want to run the report for by.

It is recommended to paste the course ID code (for accuracy).

Step 15: 

The results will display. 


Select the appropriate course ID code that you want to run the report on.

Step 16: 

Under Requirement Status, select the appropriate status as needed.

In order to see Requirement Status, you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up window.

 You can click on the Select All button if you want to include all of the requirement statuses in the report.

Note: Statuses such as De-Certified, Not Applicable, and Re-training Required are not currently utilized at CSUF.

Step 17:

Click on the Apply button.

The system will start processing your report results.

Step 18: 

The page will refresh. Click on the OK button to see the results.

Step 19: 

If you want to export your report, click on the Export icon on the left-hand side of the screen

Note: Employees must be "Registered" to course in order for their training status to be displayed on a report.

Step 20:

Select your preferred option. 

 It is recommended to use Excel if you would like to format your report further.

Step 21: 

The results will display and you can filter/format the results according to your preference.
