Enable Flash and Popups (Windows 7 or less)

These instructions cover how to enable Flash and pop-ups on Windows 7 or less.
If you have Windows 10, please refer to the guide "Enable Flash and Popups on Google Chrome."
Step 1:
Open Google Chrome.
On the upper right-hand corner of the browser page, click on the three vertical dots (Customize and control Google Chrome) button.

Step 2:
A menu window will open. Select Settings.

Step 3:
A Settings window will open.
On the very bottom of the screen, select Advanced under the ‘On Startup’ section.

Step 4:
Scroll down until you see the ‘Privacy and Security’ section.
Within that section, select Content settings.

Step 5:
The window will slide to the right to show Content settings.
Scroll down until you see a puzzle icon labeled as Flash.
Click on Flash.

Step 6:
Click on the toggle switch on the right-hand side of the screen for Block sites from running Flash.

Step 7:
Click on the toggle switch on the right-hand side of the screen for Ask first.

Step 8:
Click on the Flash back button to go back to the Content settings page.

Step 9:
Scroll down until you see a box icon labeled Popups.
Click on Popups.

Step 10:
Under the Popups section, click the toggle switch on the right-hand side of the screen for Blocked (recommended).


You may need to manually enable pop-ups and Flash Player for every new page or pop-up windows.
