Zoom Links in Notifications
This guide will walk you through how to set up Zoom links in Custom Notification Templates for Virtual Session Learning Activities.
It is recommended to set up the Registration Confirmation notifications before setting up the Virtual Sessions.
A set of 10 Registration Confirmation Notifications has been created for you. Please reuse these 10 for your training offerings.
Step 1:
From Administration Systems, click System Notification Templates and locate your course notifications
Step 2:
Click the pencil icon to edit notifications
Step 3:
Include the date in the Name field for reference
It is recommended to keep the Name simple. Adding the dates helps you reference difference sessions later.
Step 4:
Scroll down to the Body section:
- A) Change or indicate the Start time (after </b>)
- B) Replace the placeholder zoom link (between </b> and </ul>)
A time and link are placed there as a placeholder for reference.
Step 5:
Click the OK button to exit
As the training passes, you will need to recycle the custom Registration Confirmation notification templates
Step 1:
From Administration Systems, click System Notification Templates and locate your course notification(s)
Step 2:
Click the pencil icon to edit notifications
Step 3:
Update the Name filed
Use a number to signal that the template is free to use
Example: Adobe Sign
- Adobe Sign 2
- Adobe Sign 3
Step 4:
Follow the Prep steps to set up a notification when you are ready to use it
You can now create your Virtual Session
