Updating Your Password on Your Campus Laptop

This article covers how to update your campus login password on your campus-issued PC laptop.

NOTE: If you have a campus-issued Mac laptop, the login password is not tied to your campus email account password.

1. Change Your Password

There are several different ways you can change your password. IT recommends using our Self-Service Password Change App.

2. Come to Campus

In order to sync your new campus login password with your laptop, you will need to come to campus to connect to either the wireless network or to a wired connection.

3. Connect to the eduroam wireless network or plug in your laptop to a wired connection (an active data jack on campus).

NOTE: you may need to enter your full email address: username.fullerton.edu (i.e. keverdeen.fullerton.edu).

3.1. If your laptop is set to automatically connect to eduroam, you may see a pop-up message indicating that additional information is needed to connect. Click on the pop-up window and enter your new password.
