Using the Microsoft My Sign-Ins Portal
This article covers how CSUF faculty, staff, and students can access the Microsoft My Sign-Ins portal to review their web/mobile Microsoft sign-ins, review devices connected to their Microsoft account, sign out of all of their Microsoft web/mobile sign-ins, and more.
Access the Microsoft My Sign-Ins Portal
1. Open a web browser to the Microsoft My Sign-Ins portal website.
Go to the Microsoft My Sign-Ins portal website.
2. Enter your campus email address and then click Next.
- Enter your campus email address (e.g., [email protected] or [email protected]).
- Then click Next.
5. You will be prompted to authenticate with Duo.
Remember you can use Other options to choose another way to authenticate with Duo.
What would you like to do?
1. Click on My Account in the left menu and then select Recent activity. You can review every recent sign-in to your CSUF Microsoft account.
Don't recognize a sign-in? Change your password and contact the Help Desk for additional assistance.

- Click on My Account in the left menu (if not already open).
- Click Recent activity.
- Review the details of a recent sign-in to your CSUF Microsoft account. Location can often be a helpful item to check as a sign-in from a state or country that you are not currently in can be a red flag.
- You cannot use the "Look unfamiliar? Secure your account" option on this page because you are not able to change your password here. You will need to change your password using one of the approved methods listed on the password policy websites listed above.
1. Click on Devices in the left menu. Then click on a device to view details about it. Personal devices can be disabled, but your campus-issued devices cannot.
- Click on My Account in the left menu (if not already open).
- Click on Devices.
- Then click on a device to view details about it.
- Personal devices that you no longer have access to can be disabled by clicking Disable lost device. Note that if you still have access to the device, you can sign out of your CSUF Microsoft account by going to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school and then clicking disconnect next to your CSUF Microsoft account. Learn more about removing a work or school account.
- Notice that you cannot disable a campus-issued device. Contact the campus Help Desk if your campus-issued device has been lost.
Using the sign out everywhere option will sign you out of Microsoft in all web browsers and mobile devices.
Note that if you want to sign out of your Microsoft account on the Settings menu, you should use the option to review your devices above.
1. Click on My Account in the left menu and select Security Info. Then click Sign out everywhere.
Note that you may be prompted to authenticate with Duo again when accessing the Security Info page.
- Click on My Account in the left menu.

- Then click Sign out everywhere.
2. Click OK to confirm you want to sign out of all web browser sessions and all devices that are currently signed in to Microsoft.

- Click on My Account in the left menu (if not already open).
- Click on Settings & Privacy.
- Then click Privacy.
A BitLocker recovery key is needed when BitLocker can’t automatically unlock an encrypted drive in Windows. This is a 48‑digit number that lets you regain access to your drive.
If your device is prompting you to enter your BitLocker key, you will need to follow these steps on another device and write down the BitLocker key so you can enter it on the original device.
1. Click on Devices in the left menu and then select the device for which you want to retrieve a recovery key.
- Click on Devices in the left menu.
- Then select the device for which you want to retrieve a recovery key.
4. Click the copy button to copy the recovery key to the clipboard. Click Close when you are done.
If you need to enter your BitLocker recovery key on a different device, you will need to write it down and then type it on the device.
- Click the copy button to copy the recovery key to the clipboard.
- Click Close when you are done.
