Leximancer: Download & Installation for Windows
This article covers how to download, install, and activate Leximancer
1. Open your browser to the Leximancer Software Page and click on "Get A Personal LexiDesktop License"
a. Go to the Leximancer Software Page
b. Click on "Get A Personal LexiDesktop License"

3. You'll be prompted to authenticate with Duo.

Remember you can use Other options to choose another way to authenticate with Duo.
1. Go to Leximancer Software Page and click "Download LexiDesktop"
a. Go to the Leximancer Software Page
b. Click on "Download LexiDesktop"

1. Locate and open the installation file you downloaded.
Note: The installation file should go to the "Downloads" folder by default, unless changed
Click on "More info"

Click on "Run Anyway"

- Open Windows Security by clicking the Shield icon in the taskbar.
- Then, click on "App & browser control"

Click on "Reputation based protection settings"

Make the following selections:
- Turn off "Check apps and files"
- Turn off "Potentially unwanted app blocking"

Note: You can now run the installation file and continue to the next step.
- Select the Start Button (Apps will be in alphabetical order)
- Go to the "N" section and you'll find the "null" folder
- Open the folder to find "LexiDesktop5"
