Accessing Google Gemini AI Tool
This article covers how CSUF faculty, staff, and students can access the Google Gemini AI tool on the web.
1. Open a web browser to the Google Gemini website.

2. Click Sign In.
3. Enter your campus email address and then click Next.
- Enter your campus email address (e.g., [email protected] or [email protected]).
- Then click Next.
4. You may be prompted to enter your campus email address again. Then click Next.
- Enter your campus email address (e.g., [email protected] or [email protected]).
- Then click Next.
5. Enter your campus password. Then click Sign In.
- Enter your campus password.
- Then click Sign In.
6. Click Continue when prompted to verify with Duo EAM.
7. You'll be prompted to authenticate with Duo.
Remember you can use Other options to choose another way to authenticate with Duo.
8. If prompted, click Continue to verify your account.
9. Click Chat with Gemini.
- Check for the For business label to make sure you are using the correct account.
- Click Chat with Gemini.
10. Scroll down to read the Terms & Privacy.
11. Then click I agree.
12. Review the information about how Gemini works. Then click Continue.
13. You can now start chatting with Gemini!
