Downloading Microsoft Project/Visio for At Home Use

This article covers how CSUF faculty, staff, and students can download a copy of Microsoft Project/Visio for at-home use.

1. Open your browser to the Microsoft Azure for Education site.

2. Click the blue Sign In.

To get logged in for the correct site, please ensure you are using the blue Sign-in button. Do not use the Sing-in button on the top right corner.

3. Enter your campus email address and then click Next.

  1. Enter your campus email address. Faculty/staff should enter their @fullerton.edu email address. Students should enter their @csu.fullerton.edu email address.
  2. Then click Next.

4. Enter your campus password. Then click Sign In.

CSUF Student Authentication
  1. Enter your campus password. This is the same password that you use to log on to the campus portal.
  2. Then click Sign In.

5. You'll be prompted to authenticate with Duo.

Remember you can use Other options to choose another way to authenticate with Duo.

6. Enter your first and last name as they appear in CSUF records. Then enter California State University-Fullerton as the School Name. Next, enter your date of birth.

  1. Enter your first name as it appears in CSUF records.
  2. Enter your last name as it appears in CSUF records.
  3. Type California State University-Fullerton in the School name field and then select it from the search results.
  4. Enter your date of birth.

7. Click the solid blue Next button to solve a puzzle and verify you are not a robot.

8. Once the verification is complete, click the solid blue Next button.

9. Place a checkmark to next to I agree to the subscription agreement and the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching agreement. Then click Verify academic status and accept terms.

10. On the left menu, select Learning resources and then select Software.

  1. Select Learning resources from the menu on the left.
  2. Then select Software.

11. In the search, enter Project or Visio, depending on which software you need. Then select the Microsoft Project or Visio.

  1. Enter Project or Visio in the search field.
  2. Then click on Project Professional 2021 or Visio Professional 2021

12. Click View Key to look up your product key for Project or Visio

13. Save the Product key for your records. Then click Download.

  1. Copy and save the Product key for your records.
  2. Then click Download.

14. The installation file will download. Depending on your network speed, it may take a while to download.
