Creating the Staff Evaluation

In creating the Staff Evaluation, you will have the option to copy values (staff evaluation information) from a previous year.

Do you want to copy information from a previous year?

  • Click Yes to see instructions on how to create a Staff Evaluation with copying information from a previous year.


  • Click No to see instructions on how to create a Staff Evaluation without copying information from a previous year.

Step 1:

Click the Yes radial dial

Copy value (yes/no) option

Step 2:

Enter the CWID in the Employee ID field

Click the Copy values from previous year button

Step 4:

Click on the radial dial for the coordinating document to select it

Step 5:

Click the OK button

The page will refresh to show the employee's information populated

While the ratings information will be brought over, you can still edit at your discretion

Step 6: (Optional)

Click through the skills tabs to review ratings

Step 7: (Optional)

Click through the various tabs to verify / edit ratings

Step 8: (Optional)

Click on the Overall Rating Tab

Click on the Overall Rating drop-down caret to adjust if necessary

Step 9: (Optional)

Click on the Comments tab

Add any additional comments

Step 10: (Optional)

Click on the Performance Goal Setting tab 

Add information / comments to Performance Goals fields at your discretion

Step 11:

Click on the Supporting Documents tab

Any previously attached documents will show at the top

Step 12:

To add documents, click the Attach button

The attached document will show under the Attach button

Step 13:

Click the Submit button

The screen will refresh to show a confirmation of submittal

Step 1:

Click on the No radial dial

Enter the CWID in the Employee ID field, hit Enter

The employee's information will populate

Step 3:

Enter the review period by clicking on the calendar icons

Step 4:

Click on the Evaluation Type drop-down caret

Step 5:

Select the appropriate option

Step 6:

Click on the Pre-Performance Evaluation tab to review any pre-evaluation information provided

Step 7:

Click through the various skills to specify the ratings

Step 7a: 

Make sure to click through each sub-tab

Step 7b:

Click the drop-down care to select criteria

Select the appropriate option

Step 8:

Click on the Additional Criteria tab

Step 9:

Enter any additional criteria 

If you add additional criteria, specify the importance to the position by clicking the drop-down caret to select the appropriate option

Step 10:

Click on the Overall Rating tab

Step 11:

Click on the Overall Rating drop-down caret to select appropriate option

Step 12:

Click on the Comments tab

Step 13:

Add comments to support ratings

Step 14:

Click on the Performance Goal Setting tab

Step 15:

Add applicable information in the goal setting fields

Step 16:

Click on the Supporting Documents tab

Any document(s) provided by the employee in the Pre-Evaluation will show at the top of the page

Step 17:

Click on the Attach button to add documents

Step 18:

Click the Submit button

A confirmation notice will appear
