Requesting a Compliance Training Waiver

If you have completed a compliance training at another California State University (CSU), you may request a waiver for the Cal State Fullerton compliance training requirement. 

This guide outlines the process and necessary document requirements for requesting a waiver. 

Waiver Eligibility

Employees who have recently completed compliance training at another California State University (CSU) campus may be eligible for a compliance training waiver at California State University, Fullerton.

Refer to the Compliance Training website for more information about compliance training.

CSUF reserves the right to require completion of any training, regardless of previous completion at another CSU campus, if deemed necessary for compliance or other institutional purposes.

Waiver Exclusions

Training completed at Community Colleges, University of California (UC) institutions, or through third-party organizations are NOT eligible for a waiver request.

Waiver Request Process

Step 1:

Eligible employees submit their training transcript (PDF) to the Titan Training Hub (TTH) at [email protected] and indicate which training(s) they would like to request a waiver for.

To obtain your PDF of the training transcript, you can:

The transcript (PDF) should show the following information:

  1. Your full name is listed
  2. The campus the training was taken at
  3. Training completion records

Step 2:

All waiver requests will be reviewed by the respective course owner(s).

Approval of waiver requests is at the discretion of the course owner(s) and is not guaranteed.

Step 3:

The Titan Training Hub (TTH) will update you on the status of the training waiver request(s).

If granted, the waiver is valid for the period of the course recurrence.

Example: Data Security training is required annually. The waiver will only apply for 1 year from the training completion date.
