How to Create an ILT Course

These instructions cover how to create an ILT Course in Employee Training Center (ETC).

Creating an ILT Course

Step 1: 

 Start on the Employee Training Center (ETC) Dashboard.

Step 2:

Click on the Administration Icon.

Step 3:

 Select Product Administration.

Step 4:

 Select Learning.

Step 5:

Click on Learning Activities.

Step 6:

From there, the screen will refresh to the Activity Management page.

 Click on New Activity in the upper right-hand corner.

Step 7:

Next, select ILT Course from the drop down list.

Step 8:

The screen will refresh to show the New Activity.

Step 9:

From there, enter in all the required information as indicated by the red asterisks.

 For the Code section, please be sure to use the correct naming convention. First, type FULLERTON in all caps, then an underscore, 3-4 capital letters to represent the department and 3-4 numbers to represent the course.

Example:

 FULLERTON_ETC100

Required field boxes are outlined and numbered 1, 2, 3.

Step 10:

 Once all required information has been entered, click on the Optional button located in the lower right-hand corner.

From there, the screen will refresh.

 Select Status under Optional Information.

Step 12:

 Next, select the Active and Can be Subscribed checkboxes on the left-hand side.

Step 13:

 From the Status drop down bar, select Active.

Step 14:

 Once all information has been entered, click on the OK button in the lower right-hand corner.

Step 15:

From there, the screen will refresh.


 Click on Validate for Production in the lower left-hand corner.

Step 16:

 Once the screen refreshes, click on Move to Production.

Step 17:

Your ILT course has now been created.

 Click on Close, in the lower right-hand corner.
